3D printed high heels

Recently I purchased some interchangeable heel shoes from Passion Footwear.

These shoes have a removeable heel mechanism. So, that means I can make my own heels and click them on!

I found a small skull design on Thingaverse:

And I measured and modeled the connection tabs on my heels:

And I put this all together in blender, copying the angles from the regular heels.

With the help of Chris Meyer, we used the Bambu printer with it's AMS system to print in 2 filaments.

It only took a few hours to print:

And they worked great in the shoes!

They are just as comfortable as the manufacture's heel. You can't tell it's any different.

The TPU for AMS seems like the perfect consistency for the bottom tread of high heels.

I also found this great heart model on thingaverse:

Putting this together in blender was a challenge, and I don't think Blender was the ideal tool for this. But it did work.

I used all four color spots in the Bambu AMS. The print took ~20 hours.

The heels work, but I don't think you can tell they are human hearts... They look good when you hold the shoe up, but when they are on your foot, I don't think the heart is reading as a heart. Looks like a shiny bauble.
