I designed a decorative door panel for the Sector67 Hackerspace location on Winnebago St. The most challenging part of this design was that the panel was twice the size of the laser cutter bed. Chris Meyer and I cut the panel in 2 steps, and I designed the middle section to 'ramp in' so that it would still look good, even if we didn't align the piece totally perfectly for the second panel.
